Greetings Lake Shore Mothers,

Monica Moore-Humphrey

Welcome to the Jack and Jill of America Inc. Lake Shore Chapter website. We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about our fabulous chapter. It is truly an honor to be selected to lead the talented and distinguished mothers that make up the Lake Shore Chapter.

The members of the Lake Shore Chapter have been committed to making a difference in the lives of our community since our chartering in 1998.  We offer enriching activities in leadership development, cultural awareness, legislative advocacy and educational exposure.  Through our efforts we create awareness and stress the importance of philanthropy through community service and giving.

Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 to 19, dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty.   The organization was founded in 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and today has over 230 active chapters.  Our National Theme, “The Power to Make a Difference”. Children are at the heart of what we do and we are committed to nurturing future servant leaders who will make a difference in this world.

It is my sincere honor to serve as the fifth President of this fabulous chapter and I am pleased to continue the legacy of service started by my predecessors.  Welcome to the Lake Shore Chapter Experience!

Sisterly,

Monica Moore-Humphrey
